United States History

My son loves United States History since he read stories about the U.S. presidents in his history book at virtual classes last year. That is why I decided to do extra classes about United States History, in addition to his ACE curriculum. I start with the history of the state we live in, Florida. I found the web page of Florida state and do it a simple PowerPoint presentation and worksheets about the state symbols. I use Frayer's model modify to my purpose for the lesson. I divided the lesson into three parts and do it three worksheets to work on after the lesson. I have a toddler and a 9-year-old son, because of that, I created a preschool worksheet more easily and other more difficult for my other son. You can do the same I did with the state that you live in and teach your child about that state. If you want to download the lesson for free and the worksheets for a low price, follow the weblinks:

I started to created worksheets for practice and reinforce the cursive writing before he do it the book. The English book (PACE) teaches de cursive letters uppercase and lowercase separates and in alphabetic order. Honestly, I preferred that the student learn first de cursive vowels and the consonants, because, in that way, they can write words more fastened than other ways.
